FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Arrival & Departure

Arrival and check-in open on Thursday at 10:00. Come early, settle in, explore the land and give yourself some time to arrive before we slowly begin our journey together.

Regular check-in on Thursday is open from 10:00 until 19:00.

If you are arriving with a campervan or caravan on Friday, please arrive before 12:00 whenever possible. From Friday at noon, the main program begins and we want to keep the festival grounds free from moving vehicles.

If you need to arrive with a campervan or caravan after 12:00 on Friday, access will only be possible during the meal breaks, from 14:00–15:00 or 19:00–20:00.

Later arrivals are easier for guests staying in booked accommodation or bringing a tent, as no campervan or caravan needs to be driven through the gathering grounds.

There is no need to rush away on Sunday. You are welcome to stay until Monday at 11:00, giving you time for a relaxed final evening and morning together.

If you would like to stay longer, Global Tribe offers well-priced options to extend your stay, whether for an extra night or even for several weeks.

The camping area opens on Thursday at 10:00 and closes on Monday at 11:00.

Yes. Global Tribe offers accommodation before and after OASIS, so you can turn the gathering into a longer stay if you wish. This can be anything from one additional night to several weeks.

Please arrange additional nights directly with Global Tribe.

When you reach the entrance, you will be welcomed and clearly guided towards the OASIS reception and check-in area.

There are dedicated parking areas on the Global Tribe land. Our team will show you where to park when you arrive.

Yes. Before the gathering begins, cars can enter the camping area briefly to unload.

From Friday at 12:00 until Sunday at 18:00, cars should remain in the designated parking area so that the gathering grounds stay peaceful and safe.

Campervans and caravans that are being used as accommodation can of course remain in their allocated camping spot, but should not be driven around during this time.

Getting to OASIS

OASIS takes place at Global Tribe Biodynamic Ecovillage near Almonte, Huelva, in southern Spain.

The easiest way to find us is to search for “Global Tribe Biodynamic Ecovillage” on Google Maps or use our direct location link: https://share.google/71O9ELupi0vgI2fLI
Global Tribe is located in the countryside and the final part of the journey follows a rural track, so we recommend using the map link rather than relying only on a postal address. Global Tribe's GPS coordinates are 37°13'12.9"N, 6°30'55.0"W.

Coming by car is the easiest and most flexible option.

From Seville, drive west towards the Almonte/Doñana region and then continue from Almonte on the A-483 towards El Rocío. The final turn is around kilometre 16, by La Pará Rociera / El Pastorcito. From there, a short rural road leads to Global Tribe.

From Portugal/Faro, head east into Spain towards Huelva and continue towards Almonte before taking the A-483 towards El Rocío. For the final kilometres, simply follow the Google Maps link above and the Global Tribe signs.

The most convenient airport is Seville Airport (SVQ), approximately one hour by car from Global Tribe.

Faro Airport (FAO) in Portugal is another good international option and is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes by car from the Almonte area.

Jerez Airport (XRY) is another possibility, at roughly 1 hour 45 minutes by car.

How can I get to OASIS from Seville Airport? The easiest option is a rental car, shared ride or taxi directly to Global Tribe.

If you prefer public transport, take the EA Airport Bus from Seville Airport into Seville. From there, Damas operates buses from Seville to Almonte. Once you reach Almonte, the easiest final step is a short taxi ride to Global Tribe.

Please check the current Damas timetable shortly before travelling, as schedules can change.

By car, Faro Airport is around 1 hour 40 minutes away, making a rental car or shared ride a convenient option.

Without a car, one practical route is to take a coach from Faro Airport to Huelva, continue by regional bus from Huelva to Almonte, and take a taxi for the final few minutes to Global Tribe. Direct coach connections between Faro Airport and Huelva are available, although departure times should be checked for your travel day.

Yes, although coming by car or sharing a ride is easier.

There are bus connections from Seville and Huelva to Almonte. From Almonte, you can either take a taxi directly to Global Tribe or continue on a local bus towards Matalascañas and get off around La Pará Rociera / El Pastorcito, followed by a short walk to Global Tribe. Global Tribe currently describes the walk from this stop as around 8–10 minutes.

We recommend checking the latest bus schedules shortly before travelling.

The most useful bus connection is Almonte Bus Station, around a 10-minute drive from Global Tribe. From there, taking a taxi is usually the simplest option.

For trains, the nearest useful station is La Palma del Condado, on the Seville–Huelva railway line. From there, you will need a taxi for the final part of the journey.

Is there a taxi or transfer option for the final part of the journey? Yes. Taking a taxi from Almonte to Global Tribe is one of the easiest options, and we recommend booking it in advance, especially on arrival day. Global Tribe currently recommends these local taxi contacts: +34 601 603 704 +34 667 622 073 Local taxi services also operate from Almonte throughout the area.

Will there be a ride-sharing group for participants? Yes! We warmly encourage ride sharing. It makes the journey easier, reduces the number of cars on site and is a beautiful way to meet other OASIS people before you even arrive.

You can join our ride-sharing WhatsApp group here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/IVRBhj61zYQ8XEyEWTthbc

Our regular meal times are:

Breakfast: 08:30–10:00 Lunch: 14:00–15:00 Dinner: 19:00–20:00

There may be small adjustments on individual days to fit the program. You will find the exact meal times in the final timetable.

On Sunday, we bring lunch and dinner together into one big Closing Feast from 16:00–18:00, giving us a final moment to eat, connect and celebrate together before OASIS slowly comes to an end.

Yes. Please let us know about any allergies or food intolerances in the dietary information form when making your booking. This helps our kitchen team prepare accordingly.

Yes. There is free filtered drinking water available throughout the gathering, so please bring a reusable water bottle and refill it whenever you need.

Kids

The dedicated Kids Program is especially designed for children between 4 and 12 years old.

The Kids Program runs at the following times:
Friday: 15.30 until 18.30
Saturday: 10:15 until 13:00 and 15.30 until 18.30
Sunday: 10.30 until 16.00

During dedicated supervised Kids Program activities, yes. Caretakers will be present in the children's areas so parents can also enjoy parts of the OASIS program.

Outside supervised activities, parents and guardians remain responsible for their children.

At the same time, OASIS is built around community. We invite everyone to be conscious and caring towards the little humans around us, whether they are our own children or not.

A suitable number of caretakers will be present during the supervised Kids Program, depending on the number and ages of children participating.

Yes. The supervised Kids Program is designed for children from 4 years old.

Younger children and toddlers are very welcome at OASIS, but remain together with their parents or guardians.

Yes. Global Tribe has many places to step away, rest and slow down, even while music or dance is happening elsewhere.

The Healing Area, gardens, pool surroundings and other quieter corners of the land offer space to relax with babies and younger children. During the bigger dance sessions, we intentionally keep some areas free from parallel programming so that quieter spaces remain available.

Program & Daily Life

Everyone who has booked an Event Pass will receive the complete timetable approximately two weeks before OASIS.

Our official Opening Ceremony begins on Friday at 11:30.

But you don't have to wait until then to arrive into the OASIS feeling. On Thursday, there will already be relaxed activities and acoustic music, giving us time to land and connect together.

Friday morning also begins gently with yoga and meditation before we officially open the gathering.

The scheduled program finishes at around 16:00 on Sunday.

Afterwards, we come together for our Closing Feast from 16:00–18:00 and enjoy our final hours together without any rush to leave.

No. You don't need to register for the regular workshops beforehand.

Simply follow what calls you when you are here.

If you have one, please bring it.

We will have some yoga mats available, but the number is limited and we cannot guarantee one for everybody.

Rain is rare here, but we are prepared for it.

Our main program spaces and stages are weather-protected, and there is plenty of covered space where we can gather, relax and continue enjoying OASIS together if the weather changes.

What Should I Bring?

Yes, please bring your own plate or bowl, cup and cutlery.

A washing station will be available so everyone can quickly wash their own dishes after eating. With so many people sharing meals together, this simple system makes a big difference and allows our kitchen team to focus their energy on preparing beautiful food rather than washing hundreds of plates.

If you own one, yes please. We have a limited number available on site.

Yes. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Unlimited filtered drinking water is available free of charge throughout the gathering.

If you have booked one of the accommodations provided by Global Tribe, bedding is included, so you don't need to bring your own. If you are camping in your own tent or staying in your own campervan, please bring your usual sleeping equipment.

Yes, bring at least one warm layer.

The days can still feel beautifully warm in southern Spain, and we will have a big bonfire to gather around in the evenings, but October nights can become cool. A jumper, warm jacket or cosy layer is a good idea.

Yes please. The pool is a swimwear-only space, so bring your swimsuit, bikini or swimming shorts if you would like to enjoy it.

Booking & Other Practical Questions

Because we intentionally choose quality over quantity.

OASIS is kept small, with fewer than 100 guests, while offering freshly prepared meals every day, experienced international artists and facilitators, a rich music and workshop program, a dedicated Kids Program and relaxation areas, beautiful spaces and a pool.

Keeping the gathering this intimate means the costs are shared between fewer people, but it also gives us something we value deeply: space, quality, connection and a personal atmosphere instead of overcrowding. We could make OASIS bigger and cheaper, but it would no longer be the experience we want to create.

Yes, you can arrive later or leave earlier if you need to. However, we only offer full OASIS Event Passes rather than day passes.

To keep vehicle movement on the land to a minimum, campervans and caravans arriving after the Opening Ceremony on Friday will only be able to enter during the designated meal breaks. For more info, see above under Arrival & Departure.

Yes. If you can no longer come and would like another person to take your place, please contact us at: contact@oasisfamily.eu

We will arrange the re-personalisation of your booking.

OASIS Event Pass bookings are non-refundable.

If you are unable to come, you are welcome to find another person to take your place. The booking must be re-personalised through us before the gathering, so please contact contact@oasisfamily.eu.

If possible, we recommend finding a loving pet-sitter so that both you and your animal can have the most relaxed weekend.

Nonetheless, if that isn't possible, we are an integrative gathering, and pets are allowed at Global Tribe as well. Please make sure they are well supervised and comfortable around children, other guests and the animals already living on the land.

Yes. Wi-Fi is available at Global Tribe.

Unfortunately, Global Tribe is not fully barrier-free.

Much of the land has natural and sandy ground, and we therefore cannot guarantee easy access throughout the site for people with limited mobility.

If you are unsure whether the site will work for your individual needs, please contact us before booking and we will be happy to give you more detailed information.

For OASIS itself, you should not need cash for the core gathering experience. Everything is included.

If you would like to buy something extra, for example clothing or other items from the Tribe Shop, card payments are accepted.

If there is anything we haven't answered here, simply write to us at:

We are happy to help and look forward to welcoming you to OASIS. ❤️
